A national nonprofit with over 10 years of experience struggled to bring its digital channels to 2026 standards. With outdated infrastructure, practices, and workflows, I joined the team as their Senior Communications Associate and led a deep dive into their processes and standards.

A national nonprofit with over 10 years of experience struggled to bring its digital channels to 2026 standards. With outdated infrastructure, practices, and workflows, I joined the team as their Senior Communications Associate and led a deep dive into their processes and standards.

Starting with their website, I overhauled their back-end, streamlining it to be the center of SiX's ecosystem. I refreshed their brand guidelines, established new standards, and implemented workflow automations. I redesigned their homepage (see my proposal here), four main newsletters, templates, blog pages, and landing pages. I pivoted their social content to be video- and carousel-first, focused on collaborations, and established strong relationships with partners and allies. For our offline events, I created brand-aligned reports, one-pagers, stickers, and more, while helping cover gatherings and workshops with photos and videos.

SiX's website traffic skyrocketed, social media interactions increased steadily, and followers saw an organic 34% bump across channels. Email open rates remained steady at 40-60%, brand top-of-mind increased considerably for offline events, and new audiences were consistently exposed to SiX's content through the multi-channel approach.
